The Role:Our client is a leading name in the food manufacturing industry, known for their commitment to quality and continuous growth. Due to growth, we are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead the Afternoon Shift team and uphold the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and product quality.

In this hands on leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production line—ensuring targets are met, processes run smoothly, and both safety and food quality standards are consistently maintained. You'll play a key role in guiding and supporting your team to deliver excellence every shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, motivate, and support production staff on the afternoon shift.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet targets.
  • Ensure all health & safety, food safety, and hygiene standards are followed.
  • Train new team members and support ongoing staff development.
  • Perform quality checks and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Complete shift reports and handovers accurately.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and liaise with maintenance or quality teams.

Your Background:In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, GMP, and health & safety practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
