About the role

Ecostar Double Glazing is seeking a full-time Window & Door Fabricator to join our manufacturing team at our Dandenong South, VIC location. In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of high-quality uPVC double-glazed windows and doors to meet our clients' specifications.

What you'll be doing

  • Cutting, shaping, and assembling uPVC window and door frames according to design requirements
  • Measuring, sawing, and joining materials to build window and door components
  • Fitting and installing glass, hardware, and other fittings to complete window and door units
  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols throughout the fabrication process
  • Collaborating with the production team to maintain efficient workflow and meet deadlines
  • Performing regular maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years' experience in window and door fabrication or a related manufacturing role.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of window and door construction techniques and industry standards
  • Proficiency in the use of power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment
  • A team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety
