And we're hiring a Motion Designer to join our animation team

Your role would predominantly involve taking artworks briefed-in to our design team, and turning them into engaging, and eye catching communication pieces for socials, way-finding, signage, broadcast television commercials and web ads. The other facet to the role is storytelling - creating stories and visuals for explainer, product videos and presentations. This will involve the entire pipeline - from scripting, style frames and storyboarding, to final production. You would be client facing, and be capable of working together as a team, or on your own. There will be some 3d, however we predominantly work in vector 2d. Experience doing 3d will be a huge plus.

Requirements:

- 2 years experience working in motion design

- Tertiary education or equivalent motion training course (such as school of motion, etc)

- Strong understanding of Adobe After effects and all its tools & functionality

- Good understanding of the Adobe suite - mainly Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop

- 3d experience with Cinema4d, Blender or equivalent software

- A good eye for design and motion, when looking at and creating animated designs

- Ability to see animation opportunities in a design

- The ability to cope with tight deadlines and demands

- Motivated to grow and improve

- Ability to self-critique

Not required, but def a plus:

- Outgoing personality

- Knowledge of unreal engine

- Knowledge of Rive

- Knowledge of Adobe animate

- Experience in rigging and animating characters

- Broadcast tv experience

- Keen to let the hair down and party every now and then
