Baker

Duties Include:

• Baking and presenting quality bakery and pastry products to meet changing customer needs
• Assisting with stock control, production expenses and stock ordering
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of bakery before and after production to meet compliance with OHS regulations
• Assisting with production scheduling to ensure smooth production run
• Checking the quality of ingredients delivered and weighing according to recipe
• Assisting with production planning to ensure adequate quantities of end of day stock
• Coaching and support of apprentices and bakers assists to ensure consistency of product delivered every day of the year.
• Cleaning as per daily roster
• Assisting sales staff to ensure customers receive delightful service on every visit.

Qualities/Qualification Required

• Have a baking trade qualification or sufficient experience to perform duties. Expectation you can cover all work stations in the bakery.
• Be a team player
• Be used to early starts, some weekends and public holidays
• Comfortable to work in a busy production environment
• Take pride in producing quality products

Expected Start Date: September 2025

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
