Are you a dynamic and responsible individual with a passion for teaching? Hamden Edux is looking for dedicated professionals to join our team and work with Asian students in our Grade 1-12 talking program. Our English courses cover a wide range of exciting subjects, including News discussion based on world mainstream news media, Reading A-Z, classical literature and Writing. Teaching typically occurs in a 1-1 setting, with occasional 1-2 or small group up to 4 students. Plus, you'll have the support of a teaching assistant located in the students' home country for scheduling, guidance, and communication.

Position Details:

Paid weekly.

Wage for courses Raz/News: Level 1 (First 20 hours): $15/h(1-1); $19.5/h (1-2); $25.5/h (1-small group). Level 2 (After 20 hours): $20/h (1-1); $26/h (1-2); $30/h (1-small group)

Wage for courses Literature/Writing: Level 1 (First 20 hours): $25/h(1-1); $32.5/h (1-2); $37.5/h (1-small group). Level 2 (After 20 hours): $30/h (1-1); $39/h (1-2); $45/h (1-small group)

Flexible Schedule: Teaching hours are based on your availability and that of the students. Due to time zone differences, teaching typically occurs between 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM AEST on weekdays, and 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM AEST on weekends. Weekend hours are in high demand.

Instruction Platform: You will conduct classes via ClassIn.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher

3+ years of teaching experience

A neutral accent

Strong rapport with children and teenagers

Excellent public speaking skills

Responsibility and adaptability to adjust to students' English abilities and personalities

Energetic and enthusiastic attitude

Personable and positive demeanor

Prompt response to emails and other forms of communication

Previous teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.

A 30-minute trial teaching session is required as part of the employment evaluation process.
