Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging online English lessons for students in Years 2–6.
  • Develop and implement appropriate teaching plans tailored to student needs.
  • Conduct lessons via Zoom and utilize digital media to teach English effectively.
  • Lead scheduled English lessons, creating an immersive English-speaking environment.
  • Maintain a patient, lively, and enthusiastic teaching style to inspire young learners.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain individual portfolios.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Offer ongoing guidance to support student improvement.
  • Keep supervisors regularly updated on each student's progress.

Requirements:

  • Native English speaker.
  • Experience as an English teacher in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage primary school students.
  • Passionate about education, with a caring and supportive teaching approach.

Job Types: Part-time, Subcontract, Casual

Pay: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 6 per week
