Liability Claims Executive

Individual
· Manage a portfolio of complex Casualty and Property claims across Australia and New Zealand
· Oversee and manage the performance of suppliers, including our Third-Party Claims administrator ensuring service and outcomes are delivered / achieved.
· Conduct claim reviews, audits and provide feedback to junior staff members in line with claims best practice approaches.
· Review payment and indemnity decisions.
· Build and develop external business relationships with external networks
· Attend settlement conferences and mediations
· Conduct strategy conferences with stakeholders
· Develop and maintain relationships with Capital Providers, prepare for and conduct regular claims / portfolio meetings
· Coach and mentor other consultants as you will act as a senior across your portfolio
· Liaise with various third-party providers including solicitors, barristers and agencies
· Interact with and provide instructions to Legal Panel Firms within the required timeframes on all pre-litigated and litigated matters
· Settling claims within client service instructions, company guidelines and delegated authority
· Achieve monthly KPI's as designated by management
· Resolve complaints in accordance with company guidelines
· Prepare company reports on claims
· Manage internal escalations and complaints, seeking expert input where required to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
· Oversee daily workflow allocation, ensuring tasks are distributed evenly to the Claims team.
· Act as a 2IC to the Group Head of Claims and assist in the delivery of all organisational objectives.
· Work closely with the Liability Director and Liability Underwriting team on renewals and risk management activities.
Team
· Collaborate with other departments and teams to achieve company-wide objectives
· Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to solve queries
· Bordereaux production input when required
· Assisting with credit control when required
