We are looking for a Site Manager to join our Field Department, which at E80 Group is responsible for managing all logistics system installation, implementation, and commissioning activities at our customers' plants.

The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that project timelines, costs, and contractual quality standards are achieved. This role involves conducting independent analyses, providing structured feedback to E80 Group's Technical Department, leading a team of technicians, and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule all installation, implementation, and commissioning activities on customer sites through to final testing.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning.
  • Effectively coordinate and supervise the team assigned to the project, maintaining a consistent and timely communication between the customer and E80 Group.
  • Ensure cost control and compliance with contractual timelines and procedures, quality standards, and the allocated budget.
  • Manage project changes in collaboration with the Project Manager and the customer.
  • Handle non-conformity processes in coordination with technical and Supply Chain teams, escalating risks when needed.
  • Ensure systems are formally accepted by the customer and that each project phase is approved following successful testing.
  • In collaboration with E80 Group's HSE officer, ensure full compliance with site safety regulations.

Requirements

  • An Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma, supported by at least 2 years of proven experience in supervising or leading technical teams, preferably within the automation industry.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills, coupled with a hands-on approach (e.g., electrical and/or mechanical installation).
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, resource planning tools (e.g. Microsoft Project), and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong team leadership and ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Customer-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Australia and internationally, for approximately 70% of working time.

  • Desire to make a difference and daily represent E80 Group in front of the customer.
  • English (advanced or native level) with excellent communication skills.
  • Permanent rights to work in Australia, with no restrictions.
  • Valid driver's license and car owner.
