Kotahi is partnered with a well-regarded civil construction contractor with a strong reputation for 1) delivering quality projects and 2) maintaining excellent long-term relationships with their clients. With a major master planned community development now underway, we are seeking a Civil Project Engineer with proven bulk earthworks experience to join their growing team.

The Role

As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordination, and delivery of bulk earthworks packages within a landmark development project. You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure technical and commercial outcomes are achieved, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and program.

This position is ideally suited to an engineer with mine infrastructure or regional project experience who is looking to step away from FIFO/DIDO work. The role offers the rare opportunity to apply your heavy earthworks expertise to a major project located within daily commuting distance of Brisbane's southern suburbs, Ipswich, and Logan.

About You

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering bulk earthworks and civil infrastructure projects
  • Strong planning, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and delivery teams
  • A proactive and professional approach, with ambition to build a long-term career
