You Will Be
  • Truck Loading and Unloading: Safely handle pipe deliveries with accuracy and care.
  • Customer Service: Support customer collections and perform stock checks.
  • Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Keep trucks, utes, and forklifts in top condition.
  • Safety Checks: Conduct pre-start inspections, report issues, and follow safety protocols.
  • Stock Handling: Assist with moving, organizing, and repurposing materials.
  • Yard Upkeep: Maintain cleanliness through regular housekeeping and waste disposal.
  • Material Preparation: Locate and prepare pipes and other items as requested.
  • Team Coordination: Ensure smooth handovers and clear communication between teams.
  • Product Flow: Work closely with the team to maintain efficient yard operations.
Who You Are
  • Minimum 2 years' experience (recent) in a similar yard hand role - handling heavy ugly freight
  • Current forklift licence (LF class minimum)
  • Valid HR License is a plus
  • A team player with a strong work ethic, and attention to detail
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy items up to 25kg regularly and work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • A commitment to safety and following procedures
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • Australian full work rights
