About the Role
We're looking for a Trailer Painter & Fit Out to join our professional workshop team in Maddington, WA.
This is a hands-on, varied role where you'll be responsible for the preparation, painting, and final fit-out of new trailers as well as repairs and re-sprays of existing fleet. Beyond painting, you'll also assist with mechanical fit-out and finishing work to ensure our trailers meet the highest quality standards.
We're looking for someone who's mechanically minded, takes pride in their work, and enjoys working in a tight-knit team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prep and spray paint trailers to a high finish
- Final fit-out of trailers post-paint, including wiring, decals, and finishing touches
- Minor trailer and vehicle repairs (bearings, brakes, lights, etc.)
- Servicing and maintaining fleet vehicles and equipment
- Keep accurate service and work records
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Unload trucks and assist with general workshop and yard duties
- Adhere to all Work Health & Safety procedures
About You
- Experience or interest in welding is advantageous
- Forklift licence is desirable
- Trade or trade-assistant background preferred (e.g. trailers, caravans, automotive or similar)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- A team player who's willing to learn and contribute to a small but dedicated crew
- Reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in a job well done
