My client is a successful global SME group of companies with HQ based in Sydney CBD. They are looking to hire a Credit Control / Accounts Receivable Officer on an initial 3-6 month fixed term contract. The role will be responsible for supporting the Credit function by implementing day-to-day accounts receivable processes and assisting in credit control activities. There will be a focus on preparing allocations of payments, debt management, implement system streamlining processes and ad hoc reporting.
Duties will include:
- Preparing allocations of payments for the Group.
- Support with system implementation projects and AR processes.
- Prepare fortnightly and monthly debtors' performance reports.
- Ensure all customers are contacted regularly and relationships maintained.
- Manage debtor's ledger in a proactive manner to ensure that individual KPI's are achieved.
- Proactively chase debts, resolving PO / invoicing issues, and communicating any disputes efficiently.
- Implementation of the Group Credit Policy across the Group.
- Maintain escalation register for all overdue debt.
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting to key internal and external stakeholders.
To be considered required skills include:
- Minimum 2 years' recent experience in a full function Credit Controller / Accounts Receivable role
- Strong knowledge in debtor management and credit control fundamentals.
- Strong Excel, computer skills and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional and courteous in all interactions.
