The role
Manildra Group is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our highly regarded finance team. This is a full-time, onsite role based at our Gladesville office, working five days a week in the office.
You will play a vital role in managing the company's accounts receivable processes, taking full ownership of your ledger and ensuring prompt payment from customers. This is a fast-paced, end-to-end role where you'll handle everything from collections and claims resolution to account reconciliation and customer engagement.
What you'll be doing
- Manage your own ledger and drive timely collections
- Investigate and resolve customer claims and disputes
- Conduct collection calls and follow-ups professionally
- Reconcile accounts and allocate payments accurately
- Monitor credit limits and assess credit risk
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve queries
- Prepare and maintain aged debt reports
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a credit control role, ideally within a large, complex organisation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiar with SAP and Salesforce experience desirable
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritise a diverse workload and a proactive mindset
- Sound knowledge of credit control best practices and relevant legislation
- A collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
