We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated, forward-thinking customer focused person to join our supportive team as a Credit Controller.
Based at our office in Silverwater, NSW, this full-time permanent opportunity will see you assisting with the day-to-day management of debtor accounts, allocation of payments from customers, managing debt recovery and reconciliation of accounts.
Responsibilities
Protecting and maximising the revenue inflow through efficient and effective management of the customer base, credit, and cash collection
Work closely with sales/operational teams across the business to maximise potential returns, minimise customer default risk, and maximise collection of debit
Support the Credit Manager by ensuring visibility of credit controls and escalating non compliance issues
Contribute towards team culture, continuous improvement, collaboration to achieve team goals and KPI's
Ongoing data maintenance including credit limit reviews and credit application compliance
Manage emails and assist with customer inquires
What you will need to succeed
Proven experience in similar credit controllers' role, in a fast-paced environment
Have highly developed customer service skills
Excellent negotiation skills and diplomacy both with internal and external stakeholders
Problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
Well-developed computer skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
Assist to identify, develop, and deliver initiatives to improve accounts receivable processes
Strong sense of self-motivation, ability to work in a team and autonomously
