We are seeking a Portfolio Manager – Enterprise Systems and Publishing Technology to join our Sydney office on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for providing management with high-level reporting on the status of all projects within the Enterprise Systems and Publishing Technology (ESPO)

The Portfolio Manager will deliver clear, timely, and accurate insights on delivery health, risks, and dependencies, enabling informed decision-making and proactive course correction. They will assess and report each project's adherence to the TDD Project Framework, providing evidence-based validation of the status reported by project managers for key initiatives.

This role supports ESPO General Managers in addressing project-related issues and ensures that all projects involving the ESPO domain are captured in portfolio reporting. This includes approved CAPEX- funded roadmap projects, global projects, OPEX-funded projects, business-led initiatives, medium-to-

Responsibilities

  • Produce clear, timely and accurate executive-ready portfolio reporting based on inputs from project/program managers.
  • Independently validate reported statuses for key projects against the TDD Project Framework to ensure they accurately reflect project health.
  • Establish and run a consistent reporting cadence, with traffic-light (RAG) and milestones tracking.
  • Identify cross-project dependencies and critical path impacts across ESPO teams; escalate early.
  • Identify and report on all projects that ESPO contributes to, including approved CAPEX-funded roadmap projects, global projects, OPEX-funded projects, business-led projects, medium/large BAU initiatives, and projects in the pre-approval stage.
  • Provide support to ESPO General Managers for project-related issues.
  • Work with the TDD Strategy and Portfolio Management team and the ESPO Operations and Strategy teams to ensure the estimation process is followed and Delivery Managers are assigned as required to manage production of the estimates.
  • Partner with program/project managers, ESPO Platform teams, and ESPO management to align plans and priorities.

  • 5+ years in project management; 3+ years in portfolio management with executive reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experienced Portfolio Manager in large, complex organisations, with global program exposure.
