Strategic leadership
: Develop and execute regional sales strategies for smart metering and grid solutions, identify new business opportunities, and achieve revenue targets.
Client relationship management
: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders at utility companies.
Solution design and sales
: Work with clients to understand their challenges, architect solutions that address their needs, and lead technical and commercial discussions.
Sales process management
: Manage the full sales cycle, including leading bid preparation, commercial negotiations, and ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Market analysis
: Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
Team leadership
: Build and lead a sales team, fostering a culture of performance and accountability.
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of the utilities industry in ANZ, including market dynamics, regulatory environment, and emerging technologies (e.g., smart meters, grid automation, DERMS, renewable integration). Proficiency in any Grid system / application understanding and strong data analysis skills are essential.
Significant experience in sales leadership within the utility or energy sector.
Proven experience in solution selling for smart grid, DERMS and smart metering, AI/ML technologies.
Experience managing large, complex deals and multi-year contracts.
