Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for setting up systems and structure, to scale? We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager specifically from the environmental industry who has a background as an environmental engineer or scientist, to take the lead on company-wide resource planning, business system optimization, and operational excellence.


About the Role

This role would suit someone who loves continuous improvement and business efficiency. Could be someone who has worked on the ops side before or is looking to take that next step. This is a billable role that is expected to project manage one of our key projects along side the role. As the Operations Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our business efficiency, responsible for ensuring smooth, scalable, and sustainable operations. You will oversee resource planning, lead the development and implementation of business systems and workflows, and champion continuous improvement initiatives across all teams.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Own and lead company-wide resourcing and capacity planning
  • Oversee and optimize business systems and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Design, implement, and refine frameworks and processes for consistent, high-quality project and function delivery
  • Run and deliver on a key project
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance across the business
  • Support operational maturity and sustainable growth by aligning systems, people, and processes

What You'll Bring
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in environmental consulting
  • A minimum of 5+ years of project management experience
  • Experience or exposure to operations/resourcing within environmental consulting
  • A strategic mindset with a bias for action and systems thinking
  • A degree in either Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science
