About the role:
As a Treatment Plant Coordinator for the Murrumba, Redcliffe, Brendale and Dayboro cell, you will lead daily operations across our sewage and recycled water treatment facilities. You will support and guide plant staff, ensure assets run safely and efficiently, and maintain compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
In this role, you will provide technical expertise, respond to operational issues, and work closely with maintenance and project teams to improve performance and reliability. You'll also contribute to reporting, planning and training while helping drive innovation in treatment plant operations. Participation in after-hours and emergency response rosters is part of the role.
About you:

- Experience in sewage and/or recycled water treatment plant operations.
- Certificate III in Water or Wastewater Treatment (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of treatment processes, DES licensing and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to lead, mentor and support operational teams.
- Proven capability in fault analysis, SCADA systems and performance monitoring.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams and projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and asset maintenance systems.
- Commitment to safety, innovation and continuous improvement.
- C Class driver's licence.
- Willingness to participate in after-hours and on-call rosters.
- (Desirable) Trade background in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
