We're on the lookout for an experienced Leading Hand to join a growing civil construction team delivering a variety of infrastructure projects across Brisbane's north and south sides. If you have a solid background in civil works and know how to lead a crew to get the job done safely and efficiently, this could be the role for you.

About the Role:

You'll be working across a mix of civil projects including:

  • Road upgrades and intersection works
  • Pipeline installations
  • Bulk earthworks and drainage
  • General infrastructure projects

As the Leading Hand, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supervising on-site crews and subcontractors
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations to meet project timelines and standards
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Reading and working from construction plans
  • Assisting the Site Supervisor with planning and coordination

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a Leading Hand on civil construction projects (roads, utilities, drainage)
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams on-site
  • Happy to travel across Brisbane to a variety of projects
  • Strong understanding of civil construction methods and standards
  • Relevant plant/operator tickets, those with a Cert 3 will have a distinct advantage
  • Ability and willingness to travel between sites on Brisbane's north and south sides
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
