About the role

Wildfire Day Spa, a leading provider of luxury spa experiences, is seeking an exceptional and experienced Assistant Spa Manager to join their team in Kooindah Waters Wyong, NSW.

This full-time, maternity leave role (with a view to extend) will play a crucial part in overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service within our premium spa environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist the Spa Owner in leading and motivating the spa team to deliver an unparalleled customer experience
  • Facilitate the onboarding and training of new team members, ensuring they are well-integrated and prepared to uphold the spa's standards of excellence
  • Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as necessary
  • Oversee the scheduling and allocation of spa therapists, ensuring seamless spa operations
  • Maintain inventory controls, product ordering, and cost management to optimise spa profitability
  • Handle customer inquiries, appointments, and feedback to address any concerns promptly
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing initiatives to drive spa visitation and revenue
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and industry regulations
  • Provide exemplary customer service and act as a brand ambassador for Wildfire Day Spa

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a spa or wellness management or leadership role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in inventory management, scheduling, and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of the latest spa industry trends, treatments, and products
  • Passion for the beauty and wellness industry and a commitment to exceptional customer service
