Who We Are
Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) Mental Health Services deliver specialist hospital and community care for people experiencing severe or complex mental illness. Services include inpatient treatment at Wagga Wagga Base Hosptial and community mental health services across six regional centres, with programs spanning child and adolescent, youth, adult, older person and perinatal.

What You'll Be Doing
Using innovative, evidence-based skills and interventions, you will professionally support individuals seeking assistance with parents and carers of infants who have sever or complex mental health problems. You will take a trauma-informed approach and provide respectful, person-centred care, tailored to individual's needs. Central to your role will be employing an individualised, holistic approach to care, incorporating comprehensive care planning to address the diverse physical, emotional, and social aspects of each person's journey.
A Perinatal Infant Mental Health Clinician position in the Mental Health sector offers a challenging and rewarding specialisation. It provides the opportunity to take pride in the field, with a strong focus on human rights and intellectually stimulating work.

Criteria
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Current tertiary qualifications in nursing, psychology or other recognised qualification with the Health Professionals Award and hold Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration or eligibility for membership of the relevant peak body professional association with a minimum of three years post graduate experience in mental health with Australian Health.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and proven problem-solving ability within a clinical setting.
