This is a casual position with shifts broken into three parts per day—morning, afternoon, and evening. All applicants must be available for and agree to this broken shift arrangement.
This role is well-suited to a qualified professional who resides locally and is confident working independently in a home-based care setting.

Role Overview The Support Worker will be responsible for providing ongoing, in-home and community-based support in Richmond. Duties will include:
- Assisting with daily living tasks and light domestic activities
- Providing personal care (showering, grooming, toileting, etc.)
- Encouraging community participation and personal independence
- Maintaining professional standards of privacy, dignity, and respect
- Keeping accurate records and following care plans
- Complying with food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards
- Able to easily commute to Norwest NSW 2153
- Willingness and availability to work broken shifts (morning, afternoon, evening)
- Comfortable providing personal care, including toileting and showering
- Knowledge of manual handling techniques and safe use of equipment (e.g., lifters, hoists)
- Physically able to safely lift and assist clients as required
- Strong English language skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, understand care plans, complete accurate documentation, and report effectively to supervisors
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-centred approach
- Current P1 or full driver's licence (own vehicle preferred)
- Certificate III or above in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability Support
- Prior experience in in-home or community-based care roles
- Calm, compassionate, and professional care approach
- Legal right to work in Australia
- 100 points of ID
- National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NSW Working With Children Check
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
- CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
