About the Role
You will provide high-level administrative support to the Director of Clinical Haematology, medical staff, and clinical trials, helping to achieve the department's strategic goals and managing all internal and external communications. You will coordinate diaries, meetings, patient appointments, and stakeholder correspondence, while assisting with recruitment, education sessions, and other administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient departmental operations.
• You manage and coordinate diaries, meetings, and functions for the Clinical Director and consultants.
• You handle correspondence with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication.
• You coordinate patient appointments, including billing, letters and filing.
• You assist with organising education sessions, recruitment, and staff annual leave management.
• You provide reception support one half-day per week with doctors off-site.
Your Contribution
• You have a minimum of two years' experience in an administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
• You demonstrate strong ability to prioritize workload, work autonomously, and meet deadlines effectively.
• You possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• You have intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft systems and software management.
• Current National criminal history check or willing to obtain (Select which is applicable)

About Clinical Haematology
Clinical Haematology is provided across a broad range of inpatient and ambulatory settings. The service provides diagnosis and management of malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions, specialising in plasma cell myeloma, acute and chronic leukemias, lymphomas, autologous stem cell transplantation and bleeding and thombotic disorders. There is a strong focus on clinical trials and research.
