About the Role
As a Collections Officer at ACL Group, you'll play a vital role in supporting customers and ensuring responsible management of overdue accounts. You'll handle everything from negotiating repayment arrangements and processing hardship applications, to liaising with commercial agents and completing insurance claim releases.
This role is perfect for someone who's professional, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound customer calls regarding overdue accounts
- Negotiate fair and compliant payment arrangements with customers
- Process financial hardship applications efficiently and empathetically
- Liaise with external agents to locate customers and manage collections activities
- Complete and process insurance claim release forms
- Maintain accurate records of customer contact and collection activities
- Support the Collections team and other business areas with general administration tasks
- Ensure compliance with the Debt Collection Guidelines, NCCP, and Privacy Act.
