Tranby College Childcare Centre is located within the Settlers Hills Estate in Baldivis and enjoys an attractive green aesthetic with excellent facilities. The Childcare Centre is an accessible and inclusive community in which children learning and wellbeing are paramount. All members of the Childcare Centre are committed to providing a holistic, rigorous and child centred curriculum that seeks to create independent learners, balanced with the tolerance and respect valued as a Uniting Church community.

We are currently seeking casual Playleaders to join our Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) service. Applicants will need to be available to work shifts from Monday to Friday. The shifts are split with morning hours of 6:30am - 9:30am and afternoon hours of 2:30pm to 6:00pm.

The successful candidates will have:

  • Completed a Certificate IV Education Support or Certificate III in Early Childhood Studies
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • A high level of skill in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate (needs and interest based) programs.
  • The ability to develop relationships with families, children, colleagues and the wider community.
  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Good availability to be able to work a variety of shifts, often at short notice.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • A current Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to undertake within first three months of employment); and
  • Experience with electronic platforms such as Storypark (desirable).
