The Opportunity at Team Transport & Logistics

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Yard Supervisor with a Reach Stacker ticket with previous high volume stacking and loading experience to join our expanding container division based close by to the Port of Brisbane, at Lytton for a permanent afternoon/night shift.

The primary responsibilities of this role are supervising the yard operations for the night shift, ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of containers from inbound and outbound trailers, safely stacking containers within the yard and organizing yard stacks for next day deliveries.

We require candidates to have a current RS HRWL with a minimum of 12 months experience.

  • Full-Time position + plus overtime available
  • Night shift position - Sunday - Thursday with 3pm start

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A current Reach Stacker licence.
  • At least 12 months Supervisor experience in a container yard environment.
  • At least 12 months of recent experience operating Reach Stackers.
  • An awareness of AQIS and Under bond procedures.
  • Knowledge of transport legislative requirements regarding General Mass Limits (GML) and Higher Mass Limits (HML)
  • A sound level of physical fitness and skills/abilities
  • Positive motivation and time management skills in the workplace
  • Be neat & well presented
