URGENT CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY – Active Directory Engineer

Location: New South Wales

Rate: $110 per hour

Contract: 6 Months (initial)

My client, a leading
Technology Business
, is seeking an experienced
Active Directory Engineer
to support a critical migration project.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for the migration of approximately
80 workstations
to a new Active Directory domain. This includes ensuring that
user profiles
(both local and roaming) are seamlessly transferred without disruption to end-user experience.

This role requires a strong understanding of
domain migrations
and
user profile management
, particularly for developer PCs with unique customizations and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute migration of ~80 workstations to a new Active Directory domain.
  • Ensure smooth transfer of local and roaming user profiles.
  • Validate and maintain custom developer PC settings post-migration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising during the migration process.
  • Ensure network connectivity for successful roaming profile synchronization.
