Job Title:
Active Directory Engineer / Windows Domain Administrator

Detailed Job Description

  • Provide day-to-day operational management and support of enterprise-level Active Directory infrastructure
  • Perform regular health checks and proactive monitoring of AD environments using tools such as Splunk and SIEM dashboards
  • Handle incident queues, including troubleshooting and communicating resolutions with cross-functional teams
  • Assist and coach Level 1 support teams in troubleshooting and escalation processes
  • Create, modify, and manage GPOs, DNS entries, and DFS shares
  • Plan and execute AD changes and coordinate with stakeholders during maintenance windows
  • Perform Domain Controller promotion/demotion, AD object restoration, and Azure AD user/group management
  • Support application onboarding to Azure Active Directory
  • Conduct problem management activities, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and documentation of recurring issues

Must Have Skills

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Windows Domain Infrastructure, including:
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Key Tabs, Splunk, SIEM tools, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • Strong Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016 / 2019 administration and support experience
  • Experience collaborating with application teams to set up authentication and troubleshoot Active Directory integration issues
  • Strong understanding of AD attributes, LDAP Queries, and PowerShell scripting for modifying AD attributes
  • Expertise in Group Policy Object (GPO) configuration, analysis, and management
