
Senior Accounts Manager

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Manager (internally known as Technical Sales Specialist) to join our Bulk NSW Sales division. This permanent, full-time role sits within the Sales and Marketing Team and reports to the Regional Sales Manager – Central. You will drive business opportunities, grow revenue, and manage a portfolio of customers across the region.
Your Opportunity
Primary responsibilities of this role include growing revenue through our existing customers, winning new customers and winning major infrastructure and engineering projects. Your ability to forge long term relationships with all stakeholders and achieve winning outcomes for both Cement Australia and our customers will drive your success in this highly visible role.
Responsibilities include:
- Account manage a portfolio of customers and prospect for new business opportunities within existing customers.
- Win new business by maintaining an active pipeline of opportunities, managing a pipeline of opportunity and the bid process end to end.
- Deliver and support Product Service Offers in line with marketing strategy.
- Deliver and support Key Account Plans for Key Account sites in your assigned region.
- Maximise growth opportunities and value add to customers by involving the Technical Specialists in the development of new products or enhance customer process performance.
- Increase profitability of portfolio by effective price management and product substitution.
- Provide detailed sales planning and forecasting for your region.
- Ensure relevant customers have account plans that add value to them and help customer retention.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the Cement & Concrete industry preferably in a technical/account management capacity
- Advanced selling and negotiation skills
- Business to Business or Business to End User customer experience in an industrial environment
- Proven Customer Relationship Management skills
- Knowledge of micro/macro & industry structures
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
