Your Opportunity
The KPMG Corporate Finance team are seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join their existing Origination Team with another Sales/BDE professional to deepen their lead generation and new to business relationships across the mid-market. The successful candidate will join a team with strong brand equity and a well-connected partnership.
The Sales Executive will support KPMG Corporate Finance by taking a direct sales approach to uncovering new to business leads through the following day-to-day responsibilities:
- Executing sales and business development activities with senior business leaders and private equity fund managers
- Build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders and external decision-makers, including business owners, C-suite executives, and private equity leaders—to uncover and originate mid-market M&A opportunities.
- Researching, identifying and qualifying industry sectors that possess positive M&A thematics
- Assisting in improving and maintaining CRM data integrity
- Collaborate with national and international KPMG networks to deliver cross boarder engagements
- Attend relevant industry events, networking opportunities and conferences
- Prepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations to KPMG key stakeholders and senior management

- Experience in a high performing Sales role

- Experience in Corporate Business Development and Relationship Management
- Proven problem-solving abilities, negotiation skills and resilience
- Strong cold calling ability and high emotional intelligence

- An interest in the M&A market and business deal transactions
