Workfast are working on behalf of a well known company in leading providers of student accommodation in Australia. We are looking for an experienced Handyman/ Maintenance Worker, for work surrounding the CBD, Melbourne, Vic.

About the job:

You will be reporting to the general manager for your progress. You will be looking after the maintenance aspects and communicating with the students to make sure the building is following the WHS policies, procedures and reasonable safe working instructions.

What you get

  • $42hr + Overtime + Super
  • Mon to Fri (Sat as required)
  • ASAP start
  • Ongoing full-time hours

About you

  • Must have a blue card
  • Skilled with power tools
  • Well presented
  • Able to work autonomous
  • Multitasker
  • Must have a Working with Children's Check
  • Must have a police clearance

What you will be doing

  • General maintenance duties on a student accommodation
  • Using hand power tools and gardening equipment
  • Build flat packed furniture and repair existing furniture
  • Change light bulbs
  • General cleaning duties
