Montague Farms stretches from Legana in Tasmania right up to Batlow in New South Wales, stopping on the way at Narre Warren North, Harcourt, Ardmona, Dilpurra and Mildura.  It consists of 1,000 hectares of productive orchards and significant packing operations.  Montague Farms produces apples, pears, cherries, plums, peaches, apricots, grapes and citrus.

We have one of Australia's premium, semi-automated fruit handling packhouses in Narre Warren North and use only the highest quality equipment.

Responsibilities will include:

·       Placing pallets into single depth racking using reach truck or forklift

·       Loading / unloading of trucks, pallets, packaging & fruit bins

·       Movement of full & empty fruit bins throughout the site

·       Movement of empty pallets

·       Using PDA Scanner

·       Stacking pallets (manual handling)

·       Documentation completion

Span of Work Hours:

· hour working week with some Saturdays required

· am – 6pm shifts between Monday – Friday (with some overtime offered during peak periods)

·       Public Holiday roster is executed amongst the team

Please note due to the nature of our business and seasonal uplifts, we require someone who is flexible with their time and a strong team player.

License & Experience Requirements

·       Must have a Forklift license & experience driving a reach truck

·       Experience driving Linde electric forklifts (counterbalance and reach truck) is essential

PPE Requirements:

·       Operators must wear and provide their own safety shoes/boots.
