About the role

Hadar Homes is seeking a skilled and dedicated Labourer to join our team in Wodonga, Victoria. As a Skilled Labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction projects and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality homes to our clients. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects within the residential construction industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting tradespeople and other labourers with a variety of tasks in the shed and on construction sites
  2. Carrying out general labouring duties such as loading, unloading, and moving materials
  3. Preparing and cleaning work areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  4. Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
  5. Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to protect yourself and your colleagues
  6. Collaborating with the wider construction team to contribute to the successful completion of projects

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Labourer or in a similar construction role is an advantage.
  2. Strong physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
  3. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
  4. A keen interest in the construction industry and a willingness to learn new skills
  5. A commitment to working safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations
  6. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
