The Location

Ideally situated in the lush Western Suburbs of Brisbane, Bolton Clarke's Fairview provides high-quality aged care in a friendly, secure and comfortable residential environment.

The role

As part of our Hotel Services team, your role as Chef Manager 12 months Fixed term full-time contract includes managing all operational requirements in a commercial kitchen, with the support of a dedicated team.

  • Cooking high quality, nutritious meals for senior residents
  • Adapting dishes to suit dietary, allergy and modified food requirements
  • Ensuring all food is prepared, cooked and served in accordance with legislation
  • Managing employee matters including rostering, training and performance
  • Assisting the Residential Manager with associated budgets and costs

To be successful, you will have

  • Certificate IV Commercial Cookery or similar
  • Food Handling and Hygiene certificate
  • Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen in aged care or hospital
  • Demonstrated knowledge of State Food Safe regulations
  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing team performance
  • NDIS Worker Screen (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement
  • Evidence of Australian work rights
