BARTENDER - CITY LOCATION

Bodega Underground is seeking an experienced FOH Bartender to join our Mexican restaurant on Little Bourke Street, in Melbourne CBD.

We are a bar / restaurant serving tacos and mezcal 7 days a week - you will need to be capable of getting home late on close shifts.

We aim to create memorable dining experiences through our moody venue, and forward thinking offering of Mexican food and beverage. For this we need an energetic and passionate human to help our FOH team. This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your bar skills, and potential bar management career in a fun and supportive environment.

Position Requirements:

- Work alongside and take direction from the Venue Manager and Owners

- Assist in bar and floor activities

- Keep up in a fast paced, fun filled establishment

- Prepare cocktails, complete batching, and have an excellent understanding of bar cleanliness, and be willing to learn

- Maintain high quality of service and support to your fellow team whilst under pressure

- Knowledge or interest in Agave spirits and all things Mexican is advantageous, however full training is provided for candidates with the right attitude.

- Ensure a positive relationship is maintained between back of house and front of house

You will possess:

- The ability to inspire and ensure you are providing memorable experiences for our guests

- Minimum 1 years experience in a busy restaurant or bar- Professional verbal communication skills and strong eye for detail

- Impeccable hygiene, grooming and presentation
