About the Opportunity

Join an innovative SaaS company in the Sydney CBD as their Business Systems Analyst for a critical billing system implementation This is a hands-on role leading the implementation of Zuora from design through to go-live, with strong potential to transition into a permanent position.

Responsibilities

As the Business Systems Analyst, you'll own the end-to-end Zuora implementation:

  • System Implementation - Lead the complete implementation of Zuora billing system from planning through to successful go-live
  • Solution Design - Design system architecture and configuration to meet business requirements and optimize billing processes
  • Testing Management - Develop comprehensive test strategies, lead UAT activities, and ensure system functionality meets business needs
  • Project Management - Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Data Migration - Plan and execute data migration from legacy systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • System Preparation - Configure and prepare the Zuora platform, including integrations with existing systems
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Work closely with finance, operations, and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment
  • Process Optimization - Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Documentation - Create comprehensive system documentation, process workflows, and training materials
  • Training & Support - Provide training to end users and ongoing support during the transition period

Skills Needed

  • Proven experience implementing Zuora billing system (Ideal)
  • Strong business systems analysis background with hands-on implementation experience
  • Strong technical understanding of system integrations and data migration processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of deliverables
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with billing systems, revenue recognition, or financial systems advantageous
