About the role
As the Investigations and Compliance Specialist you will be responsible for managing and resolving incidents, complaints, and investigations to ensure robust organisational risk and compliance systems.
Reporting to the Manager of Risk, Audits & Compliance, you'll craft policies, lead investigations, and deliver training that empowers teams to stay sharp and compliant. With a knack for collaboration, you'll champion ethical conduct, safeguard confidentiality, and keep accountability front and center, all while juggling insurance claims and compliance reviews like a pro.
Duties
- Coordinate and support investigations, internal panel review of findings and manage engagements of investigators.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures and tools for incidents, complaints and investigation management.
- Work with organisational stakeholders to ensure effective integration, adoption and continuous improvement of
incident and complaint management systems. - Deliver training to build investigation capability.
- Participate in maintaining overviews of all reported incidents and complaints.
- Prepare regular reports on the effectiveness of incident and complaint management for relevant committees,
and participate in analysis of data from incidents and complaints to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Skills and Requirements
- Certifications or qualifications related to investigations and incident management, or degree in a relevant field.
- 3+ years experience in managing incidents, complaints and/or investigations and implementing policies, procedures and processes to coordinate this, preferably in a human services context.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change through influence, with the ability to build strong working relationships based on trust and collaboration across all levels.
- Experience working with, and/or knowledge of incident or investigation frameworks in human services.
- Be a confident communicator.
