VROC Australia Pty Ltd is looking for a specialised Control Systems Engineer (Electronics Engineer ANZSCO: to join our team.

We are looking for a qualified candidate with at least 2 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client liaison: Communicate with clients regarding the technical aspects of their control systems projects.
  • Programming: develop and configure control systems using PLCs, RTUs, SCADA systems
  • Develop and test network architectures using various industrial network protocols (e.g. PROFINET, Modbus, Ethernet / IP, PROFIBUS PA/DP
  • Technical documentation: create and review documents such as functional contro descriptions, factory acceptance test procedures
  • Site work: travel to various metro and regional locations to commission control systems, ensure systems are operational and meet client specifications.
  • Technical communication: provide clear and effective communication, both written and verbal to support project delivery and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical or a closely related discipline

Essential Experience:

  • PLC / SCADA / RTU programming: hands-on experience developing and configuring control systems.
  • Control system commissioning: practical experience in deploying and testing systems on-site.
  • Technical communication: proven ability to produce and review technical documentation and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years working as a Control Systems Engineer
  • Experience with control systems for water treatment processes.
  • Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming
  • Familiarity with ClearSCADA PLC programming
  • Familiarity with ClearSCADA / GeoSCAD platforms
  • Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, and NDP3.
