About the Role

Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from the Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O'Brien Lifehouse and Yaralla Estate. RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.

The Physiotherapist Level 3 provides senior clinical leadership within the Physiotherapy service provision including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff. Level 3 Senior Clinicians have a recognised clinical specialty within their discipline and work in areas that require high levels of clinical expertise and knowledge in that specialty. They demonstrate advanced reasoning skills and operate autonomously with minimum direct clinical supervision.

Ideal Candidate

• Current AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration and degree, or equivalent, in Physiotherapy, ensuring eligibility for full membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association with experience at Level 2 or higher.
• Advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Physiotherapy.
• Ability to independently problem solve, apply professional and ethical boundaries when working with complex situations as per of a multidisciplinary team.
