A South Australian owned and operated SMP (Structural, Mechanical & Piping) and Engineering Services Provider that provide a range of innovative products and services to improve productivity, legislative compliance & safety in mining & industrial worksites. The company employs more than 250 people Based in Edinburgh, Olympic Dam and Whyalla, with turnkey SMP our core business.

We are looking for an Electrician to join our team in Olympic Dam.

You will be part of the Raise Bore Work Crew which involves Constructions, installation, and commissioning of Raise bores.

Work involved:

  • New clean project work
  • Cable Support & Installation of cables
  • Instrumentation & Motors
  • Wiring into various PLC and control systems
  • HV and LV cable installations and terminations
  • RMU & Transformer High Voltage installations
  • Testing & Commissioning
  • Working with and around additional work crews

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Trade Qualified
  • HV experience Preferred
  • LV/CPR within 12 months
  • Olympic Dam experience highly regarded
  • Previous experience in industrial & large commercial work fronts
  • Ability to follow and understand the contract scope of work, designs and drawings
  • Competent in testing & fault finding
  • EWP above 11 meters
  • Working at heights within 5 years
  • White Card
  • Excellent attitude towards health, safety & environment
  • Ability to follow process & procedures
  • Adhere to scheduled program of work, ensuring safe practices at all times
