Summary:

In house electrician / electrical technician to conduct residential site inspections as well as quality and safety audits for residential and commercial solar / battery installations and air conditioning installations as well as simple warranty inspections and repairs. The role is predominantly field based working across all of Victoria, predominantly within metropolitan areas.

Would suit a qualified electrician or inspector. Preferably experience in the solar industry but not essential. Car provided or allowance paid.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage schedule of site inspections
  • Manage customer warranty book
  • Inspect and test solar, battery and air conditioning systems
  • Collaborate with project managers and Operations Manager
  • Comply with safety regulations
  • Ensure safe working conditions
  • Develop and enhance systems and processes

Qualifications:

  • A Grade Electrician
  • Strong communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of local safety codes
  • White card and working at heights
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Certification or licensure as an electrician
