is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Practitioner with
General Registration in NSW
to join our busy practice. This is a unique role dedicated exclusively to managing a high-volume caseload of
Workers Compensation (SIRA)
and
Compulsory Third Party (CTP)
patients.

We have a large and established patient base, ensuring you can
start with a full schedule immediately
. This is an ideal position for a doctor who is passionate about occupational medicine, injury management, and clinical excellence in the private sector.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management for patients with work-related injuries (Workers Comp) and motor vehicle accident injuries (CTP).
  • Act as the
    Nominated Treating Doctor (NTD)
    , fulfilling all legislative requirements under the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme (SIRA).
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, including
    Certificates of Capacity
    and necessary reports for insurers, employers, and legal parties.
  • Collaborate effectively with allied health professionals, rehabilitation providers, case managers, and lawyers to facilitate optimal recovery and safe return-to-work outcomes.
  • Maintain a patient-centric, evidence-based approach to all injury management plans.
  • Work exclusively with private patients (no Medicare billing for this role).

Essential Requirements

  • Full General Registration
    with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) in NSW.
  • Must NOT be currently enrolled in any General Practice (GP) Vocational Registration (VR) training program (e.g., RACGP or ACRRM Fellow programs).
  • Demonstrable experience and a strong understanding of the
    NSW Workers Compensation
    and
    CTP
    systems, including the role of the Nominated Treating Doctor.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and ethical practice.
