Qualifications & experience

  • Multi-tasking skills and speed in using tech are imperative, as you will be working on a fully digital platform.
  • 6+ months of experience in practicing medicinal cannabis preferred. Further training provided with our CMO.
  • 1.0 FTE commitment highly preferred FTE can be considered. You have the ability to build a long term career, in a rapidly growing business.
  • Our MC role is considered the next step up from 1 to 1 cannabis consulting. It involves direct consulting with patients as well as overseeing a team of your clinicians. Take your Medicinal Cannabis career to the next level
  • AHPRA registered medical practitioner. Hold current General Registration. Non-VR welcome. PGY3 or above.
  • TGA registered Authorised Prescriber for all Cat 1-5 MC (Oils, Pastilles, Flower, Inhalation)
  • Current ABN
  • Medical Practitioner Indemnity insurance
  • Excellent communication skills and phone manner. Our patient cohort have complex needs with both chronic disease and mental health management.
  • Great organisational skills, professional manner & team management skills. Ability to work closely with a team of your nurses.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Provide gold standard holistic care. Assess patient clinical histories, eligibility and risks for Medicinal Cannabis therapy.
  • Work closely with DVA for Medicinal Cannabis applications and script approvals
  • Monitor patients' ongoing needs and follow up appointments
  • Manage a team of your dedicated Medicinal Cannabis nurses
  • Collaborate within a Multidisciplinary team involving other Medical Specialists and Allied Health
