About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on, entry-level role ideal for someone who is eager to gain experience across multiple areas of our business – from retail and e-commerce to marketing and customer service.

You'll work closely with our team to ensure our customers have an exceptional experience while also helping us share the stories and products of First Nations creators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfilment: Pick, pack, and dispatch online orders from our warehouse.
  • Retail Support: Serve customers in our retail store, providing excellent product knowledge and service.
  • E-commerce Management: Upload and manage product listings on Shopify, including images, descriptions, and pricing.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer enquiries through our online customer service portal in a timely and professional manner.
  • Social Media Content Creation: Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content for our social media channels.
  • General Administration: Provide administrative support across the team as needed.
  • Reporting: Take daily instructions from Head of Marketing and Ecommerce and reporting to the CEO

Skills & Experience

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Basic computer skills and confidence learning new systems (Shopify experience an advantage, but not essential).
  • Friendly, customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Interest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and commitment to respectful engagement.
  • Ability to lift packages up to 20kg and stand for extended periods during warehouse operations
