This role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal part in Macquarie University's digital transformation initiative. You will report directly to the designated Senior Project Manager.Digital Transformation is one of the six fundamental commitments of the Macquarie University Operating Plan: to embrace emerging technologies to better connect, engage, and collaborate. The core focus of the University's digital transformation strategy is enabling the objectives of Students First through five key focus areas, seeking to drive excellent experiences and outcomes in every dimension of students' interactions with the University.The Student 360 Program will deliver a student CRM (Salesforce) platform that will realise our ambitions for end-to-end student engagement and service delivery, and allow the University to:Provide a unified, 360-degree view of each student that will enhance our ability to engage with them (including privacy protections and controls)Support the transformation of business processes, providing identification of opportunities for improved services to students and support service deliveryEnable context-specific services and personalisation to successfully support students throughout their journeyProvide a contemporary technology platform that can evolve with the changing needs and aspirations of the University and to truly connect with our students as individualsGain insights and analytics across the whole student journey, to provide better metrics and inform improvements of university services and experiencesReplace and decommission legacy systemsSelection CriteriaBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceMinimum of 5-10 years of experience in software testing, ideally in the education sector or large organisationsProven experience in testing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform implementations, specifically SalesforceIn-depth knowledge and practical application of various testing methodologies, techniques, and toolsDemonstrated expertise in developing test plans, designing test cases, executing tests, and managing defectsProven skills in automation testing, including the ability to write and execute automated test scriptsComprehensive experience in planning, coordinating, and executing User Acceptance Testing (UATStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProven experience in drafting detailed progress reports and status updatesExperience in coordinating with various internal teams for environment setup, data preparation, and smoke testingSkilled in working closely with third-party providers, vendors, and internal teams, managing their testing deliverables and outputs.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse team members, clients, and stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and effective information exchangeHow to applyKindly complete the online application process and make sure to include your resume along with cover letter as part of your submission.Please Note this position will require pre-employment checks such as criminal record check, working rights check in Australia and qualifications check.About UsMacquarie is a university engaged with the real and often complex problems and opportunities that define our lives.
