Transcend Workforce are seeking a motivated and reliable Admin Assistant to support our client with their Dispatch and Planning team during the busy Christmas period. Our client supplies steel reinforcement to the construction industry across Melbourne.

Ideal for candidates who are organised, comfortable engaging with different teams and clients, and able to stay steady in a busy work environment.

Monday to Friday - 11:00am to 4:00pm - $32.09 per hour - Laverton North

This role is ideal for someone seeking short-term work and some extra income over the holiday period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and make phone calls (internal and external stakeholders)
  • Respond to emails (internal and external stakeholders)
  • Organise paperwork for Dispatch and Planning
  • Scan paperwork into the system
  • General administration duties
  • Liaise with Operations, including occasional visits to the warehouse floor (full PPE supplied)
  • Use internal computer systems relevant to the role (full training provided)
  • Basic use of Excel, Word, and Power BI (only general knowledge required; training provided)
