We're partnering with a dynamic and rapidly growing business in the manufacturing sector, seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, field-based role, ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who enjoys being on the road, meeting clients, and driving new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities and expand the client base.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing, past, and potential clients.
  • Maintain and develop the company's CRM database with accurate customer records.
  • Conduct market research and report on trends and opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Attend networking events and meetings to grow industry contacts and leads.
  • Contribute to business growth strategies and provide regular sales reporting.
  • Promote the company's products and services, focusing on new business acquisition.

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Proven ability to identify and win new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working predominantly in the field, managing your own territory.
  • Commercially minded with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Proficient in CRM systems.
