About the role

Balmain Care For Kids' is seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as an educator. This is a full-time role based in our Balmain, NSW centre.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the daily care and supervision of children
  • Participating in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational programs and activities
  • Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment for the children
  • Communicating effectively with parents and families
  • Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and training

What we're looking for

  • A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work well in a team environment
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to work towards a relevant childcare qualification
  • A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Certificate 3 or Diploma qualified in Early Childhood Education
