Our Opportunity

St John's Kindergarten Roma is seeking a Kindergarten Director-Teacher for a permanent position, commencing January 2026. In this full-time position you will be at the forefront of shaping the minds and hearts of our young learners, building a strong educational foundation. As the Kindergarten Director-Teacher, you will:

  • Create a stimulating, engaging and safe classroom environment,
  • Implement a curriculum that inspires a love for learning,
  • Foster social, emotional and cognitive growth in children,
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team of Children Services Educators,
  • Oversee the administrative and operational requirements for your class and service.
About You

Your thorough knowledge of the education and care sector paired with your strong interpersonal and communication skills will be the driving force behind our mission to nurture children learning experiences.

As part of your role, you will need to possess or be willing to obtain a:

  • bachelor's degree in early childhood education, or equivalent qualifications as per ACECQA guidelines,
  • valid Working with Children Check (Queensland Blue Card), and
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
