Experienced Print Operator Wanted – Fabric, Dye-Sublimation & Large Format Printing

Are you an experienced Large Format Digital Print Operator looking to join a high-performing team in a modern, purpose-built facility? Do you have hands-on experience with fabric printing, dye-sublimation, and signage production?

At Evan Evans, we're expanding our operations and looking for a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented print professional to join our Fabric Printing Department on the afternoon shift (2pm–10pm).


About Us

Established in 1877, Evan Evans is one of Australia's oldest and largest digital printing companies, specialising in event signage, fabric printing, flags, and banners. We operate from a state-of-the-art facility in North Coburg, using the latest in digital print technology to produce high-impact visual solutions.


Key Responsibilities

As a Large Format Print Operator, you will:

  • Operate and maintain a range of printers including:

    Dye-Sublimation

    Digital Fabric

    Flatbed UV

    Latex Printers
  • Prepare artwork files and RIP software for print (Onyx, Caldera or similar)
  • Set up and run print jobs according to production schedules and job specifications
  • Monitor print quality, colour accuracy, and material usage
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to meet tight deadlines
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate technical problems
  • Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised workspace

Skills & Experience Required
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in large format digital printing, ideally in fabric and textile printing
  • Solid knowledge of the signage production process
  • Experience using Onyx, Fiery, or similar RIP software
  • Excellent eye for detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow print schedules and manage time effectively
  • A strong understanding of materials, colour management, and machine calibration
  • Forklift licence is advantageous (but not essential)
